What does ❤️ mean?
❤️ red heart is the default expression of love in text, but its range is wide: romantic love, love for family and friends, thanks (“❤️ for the help”), solidarity after bad news, and simple approval as a reaction. Among the coloured hearts it is the most intense and the most romantic; 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 are softer or more platonic.
Technically ❤️ is the old text character U+2764 Heavy Black Heart with an emoji-presentation selector, which is why some fonts show it as a plain glyph when the selector is missing.
