What does 😂 mean?
😂 is the default “that’s hilarious” reaction. It works for jokes, memes, clumsy moments and anything that made you laugh out loud. Doubling or tripling it (😂😂😂) turns the volume up.
Among younger users it has been partly replaced by 💀 (“I’m dead”) and 😭 (“crying”), which are used ironically for the same meaning, but 😂 remains the single most sent emoji on every platform that publishes data.
